Wither.png

A few weeks ago we added the Nether, but what is the Nether without the Wither for you to take on?

The Wither is now here for you to fight! Grab 4 soulsand and 3 wither skulls and head to the Nether with your friends and your good gear and prepare for a challenge. The SkyRealms Wither is stronger, and harder to kill than usual and it will require teamwork to take down.

When you manage to kill the Wither there will be a chance for it to drop a nether star, an item you can sell or craft into a beacon!

Note: Withers can only be spawned below Y 105. This is to keep the players joining above safe utill they decide to go into the depths of the underground.

The Wither can only be built and fought in the Nether, so be prepared to deal with other angry mobs such as pigmen who will do everything they can to prevent you from being victorious.

On top of adding the Wither, we've increased the difficulty overall. Zombie pigmen are now automatically aggressive. So while there isn't PvP in the Nether, you should still expect a challenge!

I love it! The new smaller changes are really neat, and the wither is definitely a change that will make plenty of players eager to enter the nether. I think if you want to, a nether arena made out of nether brick would be nice. I just don't want there to be too much lag if someone decides to spam wither bosses. Is there any limit at all to the amount of withers that can be spawned in? Anyways, great work!

What will happen if a player decides to steal the star after you team with them? Not everyone is trustable, and not everyone likes to have people doing things with them.

I don't think auto-aggro if the pigmen is all that good of an idea because it would make it harder to simply farm blocks and move around. Not everyone goes into the nether with the intent of fighting the mobs there, and having the pigment be auto-aggressive is unlike how it is in vanilla Minecraft. Either way, it is an interesting update!

How much would 3 wither skulks go for?

I don't know if I like the auto-aggro pigmen idea >~<
I like just wandering through a crowd of 20+ pigmen and not getting harmed and continuing on my merry way, tbh I don't think I will use the nether as much now as I did before

Wither bosses are cool and I get the strange feeling there will be one person that will have at least over 60 beacons. ._.

I like this new update! And while people are saying they don't like auto aggressive pigmen, I say pfft.... That's awesome! Now people will actually have to be prepared when they go to the nether! (Also the Wither doesn't affect me cuz I have no friends :( and there would be no way I could defeat it on my own)

Yeah but some people dont want to go into the nether to fight, like i said before. And its unlike vanilla minecraft to have auto aggro of the pigmen. Even though it might be 'awesome' to have to be prepared in the nether, its kind of overkill to have auto aggro.

They only added it because it makes it a lot harder to fight the wither.
